Project Challenges:

bullet

Short-Term Vendor Transition
The project required a rapid takeover of existing systems, including server infrastructure, domains, codebase, and third-party services – all within a short transition window.

bullet

Lack of Technical Documentation
At the time of onboarding, no technical documentation existed, requiring reverse-engineering of the codebase and infrastructure before active development could proceed.

bullet

Complex Infrastructure and Compliance Requirements
The platform’s architecture relied on multiple integrations (maps, KYC providers, analytics), which demanded stable synchronization, cost optimization, and strict compliance with both security and data protection standards.

Our Solutions:

bullet

Infrastructure Optimization
Conducted a full audit and optimization of AWS services, significantly reducing infrastructure costs while improving reliability and scalability.

bullet

Development & API Integration
Developed new mobile app features, implemented API integrations, in-app and push notifications, and analytics tracking for continuous performance monitoring.

bullet

App Store & Google Play Submission
Redesigned several functional components to meet App Store and Google Play submission guidelines.
Handled the entire publishing process – from account registration and documentation preparation to submission, review, and release – ensuring full compliance with platform requirements.

Project Overview & Outcome

A digital platform designed to support Ukrainians during wartime by providing a secure hub for accessing essential resources. The system enables real-time matching of needs, information gathering through regional humanitarian workers, and ensures data protection through advanced encryption and government-level identity verification.

The product included a multiplatform mobile application with Google Maps integration, multilingual support, and compliance with legal KYC (Know Your Customer) requirements. Two identity verification providers – Authentics and a government KYC service – were integrated to ensure lawful data handling and user authentication.

Following the transition, our team successfully stabilized the product, optimized infrastructure costs, and managed the full lifecycle from development to App Store and Google Play release.
